| A New Playhouse for the Ratty Kids |
|
Well, it has finally arrived and it is
Ginormous!! My new R-699 Rat cage came yesterday
and Johnny had it put together last night. I set
the ratties loose in it this afternoon and they
were just bubbling over with curiousity and
excitement! Next thing is to run the store and
buy a few more corner pans and a bigger
igloo...maybe even a hammock :) Yay! Can't wait
to start decorating the new rat house. You can
see a pic of it at

| A Bittersweet Birthday |
|
Me, my husband and the dog just got back a couple
of hours ago from visiting my sister in South
Carolina over the Thanksgiving holiday. We had a
really nice visit, got to see my adorable nephew,
and we had a great dinner together. Today is my
birthday. My husband gave me the awesomest gift
ever. A brand new 5 ft tall Martin's rat cage.
I've wanted one forever and I am so excited for
when it arrives to set it up and I know my
ratties will love it. Three of them anyway. I
came home tonight to find my dear old Scarlett
had died while we were away. I don't know exactly
what day she died, but my best guess is either
sometime this morning or yesterday. She was born
sometime in June of 2003 making her about 1.5
years old. I will miss her so much. It won't be
the same when I'm passing out yogies and her
sleek white body and sneaky pink eyes aren't
there trying to steal as many treats as she can
to stash away for later. Bye Bye sweet Scarlett.
Johnny: Only someone who truly loves you would
help you bury your dead rat. I love you with all
my heart and I'm so happy to be married to you-
forever and ever, I love you.

| Vianne's Crazy Poo Status |
|
Well I think we finally have Vianne's pooey
issues under control. No more Hershey squirts for
the last 6 weeks or so AND I think we finally
broke her of leaving me "presents" in the sink
every morning. So all is well and to whoever came
up with the idea of filling the sink with water
to keep her out of it, you are a genius!
